Social psychologist Paul Loeb, author of Soul of a Citizen, will lecture at Samford University Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. in Reid Chapel. The public is invited free of charge.
A specialist on social involvement, Loeb will present a vision of hope and courage to challenge culture's pervasive cynicism.
Loeb, an associated scholar at Seattle's Center for Ethical Leadership, is a frequent writer on social involvement for national publications.
His other books include Generation at the Crossroads: Apathy and Action on the American Campus, Nuclear Culture and Hope in Hard Times.
His lecture is part of the Samford convocation series.
