"Christ and Culture Revisited" is the topic of the 13th annual Reformation Heritage Lectures sponsored by Samford University's Beeson Divinity School Oct. 30 through Nov. 1
Carl Braaten, executive director, Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology, will lecture each day at 11 a.m. in Beeson Divinity Chapel at Samford. The public is invited free of charge.
A discussion luncheon will follow the lecture on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Cost is $5 per person. Luncheon reservations are requested by Friday, Oct. 26.
Braaten has held his current post since 1991. He is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and was formerly a pastor at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Minneapolis, Minn. A prolific writer, his most recent works include Church Unity and the Papal Office, Sin, Death and the Devil and Mother Church.
