Samford University's Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing, in conjunction with United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Greater Birmingham, hosted its second mobile health clinic for children and adults with developmental disabilities Saturday, October 9. Samford took the clinic to the Miracle League of Tuscaloosa to provide free health screenings, primary care services, and referrals for participants in the league as well as their families. In a multi-disciplinary collaboration, pharmacy and exercise science students joined the nursing students to help administer the screenings and provide information about medicine and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This video includes all the fun from the day as well as more information.
