Samford Summer Classes Begin June 8

Samford University will begin summer term classes Monday (JUNE 7). About 1,031 undergraduate and graduate students are expected.

June activity on campus will be brisk, with a variety of workshops and conferences planned. Events include Orff Schulwerk music workshop, the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research conference, three orientation sessions for incoming fall students, a theatre workshop, Adventures in Music camp for youngsters, and various sports camps.

Alabama Governor’s School for rising high school seniors begins June 13. The Miss Alabama Scholarship Pageant activity begins June 6, with final competition on June 12.
