Samford Hosts Hitting Camp for Softball Players

A pre-season hitting camp for softball players ages 13 through 18 will be held at Samford University Jan. 26 and 27, 1-4 p.m.

Instructors are Leah Braatz, four-time first team All-American at the University of Arizona and former Women's Professional Softball League player; Kim Braatz-Voisard, former All-American at the University of New Mexico and member of the Colorado Silver Bullets WPSL team; Beanie Ketcham, Samford softball coach and former member of the Colorado Silver Bullets; and Mark Voisard, Samford head softball coach and former Colorado Rockies baseball pitcher.

Camp sessions will be held on the Samford softball field. Registration fee is $80. To register, call Kim Braatz-Voisard at (205) 871-7308 or E-mail braatzy33@hotmail.com.
