Judi Aucoin, Other Samford Employees Cited for Outstanding Performance
Samford University honored several employees for exceptional performance during the opening convocation of the fall semester Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Judi F. Aucoin, director of advancement services in the office of university advancement, received the President’s Award for special recognition.
She was cited for her overall work ethic and especially for her capable service as implementation coordinator of Banner, Samford’s administrative software system. Aucoin’s support of the three-year project, said Samford president Andrew Westmoreland, “was critical to the success of that implementation.”
Aucoin, who joined the Samford staff in 1998, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and a master’s in business administration from Nicholls State University.
Meritorious Service Awards went to: Ivy Alexander, secretary in the economics, finance and quantitative analysis department in Samford’s Brock School of Business; Jane Leask, assistant registrar for certification, publications and programming in the office of student records; and Lauren Taylor, director of residence life and university services.
