Posted by Mary Wimberley on 2009-01-30

Samford University history professor Dr. Ginger Frost is the author of two recently-published peer-reviewed books on 19th Century England.

Victorian Childhoods, which illustrates the difficulties and pleasures of growing up during the time, is part of the "Victorian Life and Times" series published by Praeger Press.

The book's publication comes soon after the release of Dr. Frost's Living in Sin: Cohabiting as Husband and Wife in Nineteenth Century England, which is part of the "Gender in History" series published by Manchester University Press.

A Samford history faculty member since 1996, Dr. Frost is a specialist in the areas of Victorian and modern Britain, Europe and women's studies.
