Samford Theatre Presents Mamet's ´Oleanna' February 7-10

Samford University Theatre will present David Mamet's compelling drama Oleanna Feb. 7-10.

The play deals with the power struggle between a university professor, who is standing for tenure, and a female student who accuses him of sexual harassment.

Chelsea Reynolds and Santiago Sosa are cast in the roles of the play's only characters, Carol and John.

Reynolds is a sophomore musical theatre major from Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Sosa, from Ecuador, holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in classical acting from Texas State University.

Neal Tucker, a senior theatre major from Birmingham, directs the play.

Performances are in Samford's Bolding Studio at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 7, 8 and 9; and 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 10. Admission is $10 adults, $8 senior adults and $6 students/children. Tickets are available at www.samfordartstickets.com. Tel. (205) 726-2853.
