Posted by Mary Wimberley on 2007-12-21

Samford University students will study on campus and around the globe during the school's January Term.

Off-campus study sites include Samford's London Study Centre and other locales in Europe and Central America.

January will find 14 biology students in Belize, 30 classics students in Greece and 7 music students in Italy. Twenty-four Spanish students and four nutrition students will experience "home-stays" with families in Costa Rica.

A total of 68 students will be based at Daniel House in London during two two-week sessions. During the first term, which begins Dec. 28, subjects range from international accounting to a study of death and mourning from the time of Queen Victoria to the present. The second term will focus on art and drama appreciation.
