The graduation rate among all students admitted to the McWhorter School of Pharmacy since fall of 2001 (Class of 2005 through Class of 2013) is greater than 97%. More than 95% of students admitted since 2001 graduated in 4 years. 100% board certification. Among our pharmacy practice faculty, 100% of them have achieved board certification and/or hold Fellow Status in a national professional society. This represents the highest level of achievement and is a testament to the quality of the faculty. High Job Placement. 82% of the 2013 graduating class who pursued a pharmacy residency accepted a position to begin July 2013. 9 countries. 9 = the number of countries other than the United States where the MSOP holds formal affiliations with academic institutions or hospitals, affording opportunities for our students to complete study abroad courses. Countries include China, Great Britain, Indonesia, Japan, Macau (S.A.R. China), Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam and Zambia. 100% of our pharmaceutical, social and administrative sciences faculty hold a PhD in their respective discipline, and half of them also hold a pharmacy degree. This is extraordinarily unusual for pharmacy school faculty in today's era, and another testament to the quality of our faculty.
