January Prime Time For International Study

Lisa Taylor gets ready to receive her diploma.Students are taking advantage of Samford's extensive international study opportunities during January Term.

January will find 14 biology students in Belize, 30 classics students in Greece and 7 music students in Italy. Twenty-four Spanish students and four nutrition students will experience "home-stays" with families in Costa Rica.

A total of 68 students will be based at Daniel House in London during two two-week sessions. During the first term, which begins Dec. 28, subjects range from international accounting to a study of death and mourning from the time of Queen Victoria to the present.  The second term will focus on art and drama appreciation.
