Grammy-Nominated Eroica Trio to Perform, Lead Classes in November

Samford University will open its new Pete Hanna Center during a series of Homecoming events.The Grammy-nominated Eroica Trio--which thrills audiences with flawless technical virtuosity, irresistible enthusiasm and sensual elegance--will perform at Samford on Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Brock Hall.

The three young women who make up the celebrated ensemble electrify the concert stage with performances of depth and precision. With a repertoire ranging from Vivaldi and Brahms to Schoenfield and Gershwin,  the Trio is one of the finest chamber ensembles in the world. They have released seven critically lauded recordings, garnering multiple Grammy recognitions and winning the prestigious Naumburg Award.

Eroica Trio also will be in residence for master classes and lectures for Samford students.

The Nov. 13 performance is open to the public. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for purchasers over age 55, and $15 for students and children. (Samford faculty and staff are allowed two complimentary tickets).
