Samford Seeks Nominations for 2004 Ministers of Year

"…Selection criteria include service as an effective and consistent model of leadership in the local church, denominational involvement, and missions and evangelism support…"

Samford is currently accepting nominations for its 2004 Alabama Baptist Minister of the Year awards. The deadline for receipt of nominations is Sept. 15.

Nominees may represent one of six categories:

  • Church with Sunday school enrollment under 300
  • Church with Sunday school enrollment between 300 and 999
  • Church with Sunday school enrollment of 1,000 or more
  • Director of missions
  • Retired minister
  • Bi-vocational minister

Selection criteria include service as an effective and consistent model of leadership in the local church, denominational involvement, and missions and evangelism support.

Nominations, in letter form and describing why the nominee would be a worthy recipient, should be mailed to:

Award winners will be announced during the Alabama Baptist State Convention meeting in Montgomery in November.
