Samford Celebrates 20 Years in London, Seeks Photos for Exhibit

Samford University invites you to submit photographs for an exhibit titled Samford Salutes London: Faculty, Student and Alumni Photography Commemorating 20 Years at the Daniel House. The exhibit, in the Leslie S. Wright Art Gallery, will open October 25, 2004, and close November 12, 2004. Some of the exhibited photographs will be selected to hang in the Daniel House in London.

In addition to the exhibit, Samford will host a High Tea Reception in the gallery from 4-6 p.m. homecoming Friday, October 29, 2004.

Submission Criteria

Photos must be delivered to the Samford gallery October 18-21.

A maximum of two original photo works may be submitted per person.

Each photo must be a minimum of 8" x 10".

Each photo submitted must be matted, framed and completely ready for hanging.

Each photo must have the following typed information taped to the back of the frame:

Title of photo
Name of photographer
Full address and phone number of photographer
Price or NFS (not for sale)

According to quantity submitted, etc., the gallery reserves the right to exclude any photos submitted.

Shipped photos must be received within the timeframe allotted.

A prepaid shipping label must be enclosed with shipped photo.

No C.O.D. All shipped photos must be prepaid.

It is the sender’s responsibility to make claims for any photos damaged in shipping. The Samford Gallery will not be responsible for filling out forms, making claims, etc. for damaged work.
