What to Bring
What you bring is really up to you, but many residents will bring the following:
- alarm clock
- towels and sheets
- pillow
- comforter
- blankets
- shower caddy
- bath supplies
- flip-flops
- power strips (extension cords are discouraged)
- cleaning supplies
- seasonal clothes/shoes
- luggage for weekend trips
- hangers
- drawer liners
- plate, cup, utensils, can-opener
- Ziploc bags
- computer and printer
- laundry detergent (and quarters)
- laundry basket
- back pack
- first aid supplies
- flashlight
- ear plugs
- telephone
- answering machine
- limited number of pictures and personal items to help you feel at home
What NOT to bring:
- candles
- pets
- weapons
- alcoholic beverages
- halogen lamps
- sharp knives
- toaster oven/toaster
- furniture
- charcoal grill
- any appliance with an exposed burner
Items to discuss with your roommate:
