Cyprinella gibbsi, Tallapoosa Shiner
27 November 2001, five individuals collected and released at Buzzard Creek, a tributary to Talladega Creek, at the junction of Hanging Rock Road and Mountain View Road, (Sec 4, T20S R7E).
 
 
Elassoma zonatum, Banded Pigmy Sunfish
25 February 2002, collected by Vertebrate Field Zoology class at Ebenezer Swamp (Spring Creek), four miles north of Montevallo, along County Road 24 (Sec 36, T21S, R3W).
 
 
Etheostoma nuchale, Watercress Darter
14 November 2002, one individual collected at Seven Springs, located within the Birmingham city limits (Powderly community), Jefferson County, AL (Sec 17, T18S R3W).
 
 
Ichthyomyzon castaneus, Chestnut Lamprey
8 April 2002, Vertebrate Field Zoology class collected one individual at Old Overton Road, Jefferson County (Sec 11, T18S, R2W), at the first riffle area below the canoe launch.
 
 
Notropis cahabae, Cahaba Shiner
14 May 2002, one individual was collected at the County Road 52 bridge near Helena, Shelby County (Sec 20, T20S, R3W).  
 
 
Percina sciera, Dusky Darter
25 February 2002, one individual collected by Vertebrate Field Zoology class at Ebenezer Swamp (Spring Creek), four miles north of Montevallo, along County Road 24 (Sec 36, T21S, R3W).
