Above is the architect's conception of the new Samford University Science Center. One of the largest buildings on campus, it will house the departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. State-of-the-art equipment will facilitate both learning and research. Completion of this new facility is expected by January 2001. |

The facilities of the Department of Biology, presently housed in Russell Hall, have been upgraded recently and include equipment for the study of ecosystems, the physiology of living organisms, and molecular biology. | |
