Samford University Students at London's Natural History Museum

Here are two outside views of London's Natural History Museum where we toured the exhibits on Charles Darwin's Origin of Species, the evolution of humans, dinosaur skeletons, and one of the largest mammal exhibits in the world.     There are approximately 27 million specimens of animal life - from tiny parasitic worms to giant whales -- in the museum's Zoology Department.

The architecture of the Natural History Museum building is neo-Romanesque, with stone figures of extinct and extant animals adorning the facade as well as the inside of the building (see arrows on the picture on left).
