Teaching Field Zoology with Photography

Photography is an excellent tool for teaching field biology courses, allowing students to study individual specimens closely and in their natural habitat without harming them.  For a more complete explanation of the teaching method, see "Teaching Field Biology with Photography," The American Biology Teacher, Vol. 65, No. 6, Aug. 2003, pg. 450, by Ronald L. Jenkins, W. Mike Howell, L. J. Davenport, and Linda F. Wood.
