Minor in History:
Students in any school may, with permission of their advisors, choose to minor
in history. The minor requires 24 hours. For more information click

Concentration in International Relations
The Concentration in International Relations is an interdisciplinary degree
involving foreign languages, history, and political science. International
Relations not only gives a student entre to a variety of graduate programs
(e.g., history, political science, international studies), it provides valuable
preparation for students interested in any area of foreign service or the
mission field. IREL leads to the Bachelor of Arts degree and requires 60 credits.
With careful planning a student can add extra hours in one or more of the

Bachelor of Science in Education, Social Studies
The School of Education offers a BS degree with a teaching certificate in
Social Sciences. History is an integral part of this program. Students interested
