Psychology Major Activities
Psychology majors are active in a wide range of professional and social activities. The department sponsors a chapter of Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society. Each semester the department also sponsors professional and social activities for majors, minors, and anyone interested in psychology.
The psychology program is known for its student research. All psychology majors conduct at least one original research project. Samford Psychology majors regularly present papers at local, regional, and national conferences. They often co-author papers with faculty members at professional conferences.
