Dr. West earned her B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College,
her M.A. from Mississippi State University, and her
M.A.Ed. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and
Ph.D from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.
She also coordinates the Samford in France program, is the
sponsor of the French club, and hosts a weekly French table.
Her reasearch interests include the novels, fables,
songs and culture of Quebec.
