Elizabeth Wells is the coordinator of the Special Collection Department of the Samford University Library. Active in the genealogical and historical community, she served as past president of the Alabama Genealogical Society, the Birmingham Genealogical Society, and is a founder and past president of the Society of Alabama Archivists. Her research and preservation interests include Alabama church and local family records. She is co-author of The History of Judson College.
