Ann Carter Fleming is an author, lecturer, researcher, and volunteer. She is the current past president of the National Genealogical Society and has served as president of the St. Louis Genealogical Society, and on the boards of the Missouri State Genealogical Association, APG, Friends of the Missouri Archives, and Friends of St. Louis County Library.

Ann is the author of the Organized Family Historian and co-author of Research in Missouri. She co-authored two family histories and is the author of two others. She has been a certified genealogist since 1994 and specializes in Missouri and Illinois research.
