Amy Larner Giroux, CG, CGL, is a professional genealogical researcher, lecturer and writer. Her research specialty is New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley. She is an award-winning author with articles published in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly, the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society Record, the Association of Professional Genealogists Quarterly and other publications. Amy is a Trustee for the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) and a Director of the Florida State Genealogical Society. Amy has a B.S.E.T. (Computer Technology) and 20 years experience in software development and project management. She is the webmaster for the Board for Certification of Genealogists, the Association of Professional Genealogists, and the International Society for British Genealogy and Family History.
