The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) sponsors the ASHP Resident Matching Program, which is the mechanism that most residency programs use to obtain applicants. There is an Internet site at Natmatch. Further details about the program are available here, as well as an online form for obtaining an Applicant Agreement package.
The Drug Information Center maintains additional information, a guide to programs and application materials. Students should consult the Residency Directory, vol 1, published by ASHP, call no. RS103.R474, which is in the Reserve Section of the DIC.
