Samford In Mission
SIM: Exploring Vocation, Faith and Learning
A campus wide grant initiative funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Programs for the Theological Exploration of Vocation (PTEV) and Samford University. The grant period began December 1, 2002 and runs to December 31, 2007.
The purpose of the grant is to engage Samford students, faculty and staff in a web of academic, student and community development programs designed to facilitate and deepen the exploration of mission and vocation.
"The grant will be successful if future Samford graduates tell stories of connections between the classroom and service in the world that formed their sense of life's mission and their place in it."
