Howard Walthall graduated maga cum laude from Harvard College in 1964.  He is currently co-writing Alabama's Supreme Court and Legal Institutions:  A History.  He is the Co-author of From Maverick to Mainstream:  Cumberland School of Law, 1847-1997 with Cumberland Professor David J. Langum.  He is a member of the American Law Institute and its Consultative Groups on Restatement of Agency and Restatement of Resititution. and a member of the American Bar Association Business Law Section and its committees on consumer bankruptcy and partnerships.
