Sarah attended Belhaven University for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Collaborative Piano and Pedagogy, studying under Dr. Stephen Sachs, and completed her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, studying under Dr. Susanna Garcia. While living in Lafayette, Sarah taught piano privately at the Acadiana Symphony Conservatory, Iberia Music Academy, and Highland School of Music; and taught class piano at ULL as an adjunct instructor.

Sarah is a member of MTNA and of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society. She has done extensive work collaborating with other classical musicians for performances at the university and in the community, and served as a church pianist for several years in Louisiana. Sarah has performed in masterclasses for pianist Dr. Courtney Crappell, harpsichordist John Paul, and flautist Josué Casillas. She is also a former member of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Chamber Singers.

Sarah teaches class piano at Samford University and accompanies for students and classes in the music department. In addition, she teaches privately in the Birmingham area. She and her husband Steven are members of St. John’s Anglican Church.
