Cumberland School of Law Launches First Full-Service Law School Clinic in Alabama for Veterans
In September, Cumberland launched the first full-service law school clinic in Alabama for veterans. The Cumberland Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic (C-VETS) provides free legal assistance to veterans and their families in an eight-county area of north central Alabama.

Expanding on the national presence of the advocacy program, leaders in Cumberland’s program coordinated and hosted "Training Advocates Conference 2020: Our Virtual Reality." The conference, held completely virtually in August, brought together participants and advocacy experts from across the country.

Cumberland Trial Advocacy Program Ranked 7th in the Nation by U.S. News & World Report
Cumberland School of Law has once again been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top law schools in the country for trial advocacy training. The 2021 rankings released March 17 list Cumberland’s program as 7th in the nation out of 188 law schools listed.
