Students await the start of the law library's orientation

On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, librarians at the Lucille Stewart Beeson Law Library welcomed members of Cumberland’s class of 2025 with an orientation to the law library. During the orientation, the first-year students were greeted by Gregory K. Laughlin (Law Library Director), Edward L. Craig Jr. (Reference Librarian), Leigh A. Jones (Evening and Weekend Reference Librarian), and Grace L. Simms (Information Technology Librarian). During the meeting, students were given information concerning the policies, resources, services, and goals of the library. Also, they were provided with information about the technological tools that are available to them as Cumberland students. The orientation of the law library ended with a brief tour that allowed the new students to view key areas of the building.

The staff of the Lucille Stewart Beeson Law Library looks forward to working with all new and seasoned students this year, and we wish them the absolute best for the upcoming academic year.
