Hometown: Mobile, AlabamaJordan has a passion for music as she has played the flute in her high school’s concert band for eight years and in the marching band for four. She effectively led her peers in both, meriting her position as the section leader. She is now a member of the Samford University Wind Ensemble. Jordan also has a love for the Spanish language, having taken courses for six years and receiving an award for excellence in Spanish. She hopes to pursue a dual degree for Pharmacy and Spanish upon entry into the McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 2018. In high school, Jordan was the secretary of the National Honor Society and was a member of the National Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Club, and the Rutledge Fellows of Philanthropy. In her community, Jordan volunteered her time at the Ronald McDonald House and at Carmel Health Network tutoring underprivileged children. Upon her graduation from pharmacy school, Jordan hopes to pursue a career in hospital pharmacy, specializing in oncology.
