Samford University Student Named Better Basics' Executive Director

Samford University’s Orlean Beeson School of Education student Kristi Stacks has been named Better Basics’ Executive Director.

Better Basics seeks to empower children, improve the community and reduce illiteracy by providing literacy intervention, enrichment programs and educational opportunities for elementary and middle school students throughout the state of Alabama.

Stacks received an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Samford University and she is currently pursuing an Educational Doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership at Samford.
