The student will perform duties for Critical Languages Program which may include taking lab attendance, making copies, scanning files, making deliveries, posting flyers, uploading files to Canvas, updating documents, making posters, posting to social media, filing, assisting the staff as requested and other duties as assigned. The student should be available to work late afternoons/early evenings.
Federal Work/Study earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student. This award does not credit to the account of the student as payment toward University charges.
The student assistant must have a great attention to detail, excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, an excellent work ethic, good computer skills, good organization, punctuality, the ability to walk across campus, and a professional attitude. Knowledge of one or more languages in addition to English is a plus.
