Aaron L. Johnson is an assistant professor and audiology director of clinical education in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Johnson is also the owner of a private audiology practice in Cullman, Alabama. He has worked in various clinical settings and has extensive experience in comprehensive hearing and vestibular diagnostics, hearing aid service and repair, tinnitus management, and industrial audiology services and consulting.

Johnson received his B.S. in speech-language pathology and M.S. in Audiology at the University of Montevallo and his Doctor of Audiology at Salus University - George S. Osborne College of Audiology. He currently serves as president of the Board of Directors for the Alabama Academy of Audiology. He maintains his Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech & Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. He is a member of National Hearing Conservation Association and maintains licensure to practice audiology in Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi.
