Samford University's 2006 Homecoming Court has been announced. The school will celebrate Homecoming this weekend, Oct. 20-22.

Court members are: freshmen Grace Moon of Olive Branch, Miss., and Oliver Jones of Roswell, Ga.; sophomores Rebekah Beaty of Columbus, Ga., and Andrew Dick of Atlanta, Ga.; juniors Ellen Donze of Birmingham and John Ryan Colvin of Jackson, Ala.; and seniors Mary Kathryn Covert of Meridian, Miss., Candis Garner of Florence, Ala., Christina Knox of Birmingham, Bill Anderson of Macon, Ga., D.J. Carter of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and Robby Stone of Birmingham.

Class representatives were chosen by members of the respective classes.

The queen and senior honor escort will be announced during halftime ceremonies at Samford's Homecoming game against University of Tennessee-Martin, Saturday in Seibert Stadium. Kickoff time is 2 p.m.

Other Homecoming weekend activities include an alumni banquet on Friday, reunions, parade and other activities on Saturday, and a concluding worship service on Sunday morning.
