Samford University has invited 100 top high school students from Alabama and across the nation to participate in its 2006 Scholars Day Monday, Feb. 20. The students will be interviewed as part of their competition for Beeson Scholarships or Presidential Scholarships to Samford. Beeson Scholars, who must graduate from Alabama high schools, receive a full scholarship and inclusion in programs designed for the most distinguished scholars. Presidential Scholars are selected on the basis of academic performance and demonstrated leadership qualities.
