Samford University education professor Dr. David M. Finn was elected vice president of the Alabama Federation-Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) at the group's recent annual conference.

Finn, who teaches special education in Samford's Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education and Professional Studies, is also director of the Samford Children's Learning Center.

CEC members represent all levels of education, ranging from infants through high school, as well as higher education and related professions.
