Samford University, as part of its Global Missions Emphasis Week, is accepting donations that will send Bibles to people in cultures where the Scripture is not easily accessible.

The donations will go to Bibles Unbound, a program that sends Bibles to the homes of people who have requested them in such cultures, said Dr. Matthew S. Kerlin, Samford minister to the university. The Bibles are printed in their native language. Samford is accepting donations for the program during chapel programs and other Global Missions Emphasis activities the week of Sept. 25.

A donation of $6 will send a Bible. Donations also may be sent to the University Ministries Office, Samford University, Birmingham, AL 35229. Checks should be made to University Ministries. #
