Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School will hold its fall commencement and service of consecration on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. in Andrew Gerow Hodges Chapel at Samford.

Dr. Danny Wood, pastor of Shades Mountain Baptist Church, will be the speaker.

Dr. Wood has served at Shades Mountain Baptist since 1997. An Auburn University graduate, he holds the master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and doctor of ministry from Beeson.
