The Office of Alumni Programs has a couple of holiday events planned for Samford alumni.

            On Dec. 11, the Samford Young Alumni Board will host its third annual Christmas party in Birmingham. The event is at Urban Standard downtown, from 6-9 pm. Recent grad Josh Sizemore will provide entertainment.

            The recently formed Atlanta Samford Young Alumni Board will host its second event of 2012 on Dec. 19. Alums zero to10 years out can register here:

            The Nashville Young Alumni Board is working on plans for their first events beginning in 2013.

            According to David Goodwin, director of alumni programs, the young alumni boards plan events to keep alumni involved in university life. Lauren Lunceford serves as board chair for Birmingham, and Susan Hamm serves as board chair for Atlanta.
