Theatre and Dance Students to Perform at Magic City Arts Connection April 28
Posted by Sean Flynt on 2012-04-25Samford Theatre and Dance students will perform at 3 p.m. this Saturday, April 28, on the Backyard Productions Stage in Birmingham's Imagination Festival. Part of the free Magic City Art Connection, the Imagination Festival will cover one-quarter of Linn Park and offer arts activities for children and adults.
The Samford students will perform two dances from the Momentum 2012 dance concert and a scene from Shakespeare's The Tempest. The festival will feature performances by other local dance, music and theater companies throughout the day.
Magic City Art Connection is one of the South's largest juried art shows.
