Rahn and Mohlenbrok at the SEDAAG Conference
Samford Geography students Forrest Courtney and Austin Mohlenbrok presented research posters at the Southeastern Division of the Association of American Geographers (SEDAAG) at Mississippi State University in November. Courtney presented “The Implementation of Light Intensity & Temperature Probes to Aid Research in Coral Propagation and Reef Rehabilitation.” Mohlenbrok presented “Plane Thinking: Flying at the Margin.”
The students were joined by Samford Geography professors Jennifer Rahn and Eric Fournier. In addition to helping the students with their research, Rahn initiated and continues to organize SEDAAG’s Undergraduate Student Research Poster Competition.
