Samford University STEM Scholar Adriene Gadsden was honored in March as the 2018 Housing Authority Birmingham District Scholar. The computer science major earned a two-year degree at Lawson State Community College before entering Samford through the STEM Scholars program, which brings to the university academically gifted community college science and math students.
