Throughout this week and extending into the early portion of next week, many of us on the campus will be engaged in interviews with three candidates for the position of Provost.  The interviews are taking place, of course, because our current Provost, Dr. Brad Creed, has accepted the presidency of Campbell University in North Carolina.  Dr. and Mrs. Creed and their family are cherished members of this community.  Today, April 20, happens to be Dr. Creed’s birthday.  Join me, if you will, in flooding his inbox with birthday greetings and best wishes for his important work at Campbell.  His e-mail address is
