Dating back to the 1960s (when a kid named Brad Bishop was providing guidance) Samford has enjoyed a strong reputation in intercollegiate debate.  At this point in the 2009-10 season, Samford is ranked 15th in the United States.  Harvard is only a couple of places behind, at 17th.  At a recent Vanderbilt tournament, Logan Graminski was the top speaker and Dan Bagwell was ranked second.  Ryan Galloway provides outstanding leadership for the team.

The world is better because of the Samford Debate Team.
