You may recall a “Monday Mission” from last fall in which I highlighted the comments of a young lady who is an intern in the McWhorter School of Pharmacy from the Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School. In addition to the position in McWhorter, we’ve also been pleased this year to host interns in the Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education and Professional Studies, the Brock School of Business, and the University Library.  Last month, at an event honoring the life-changing work of the school, Samford was named the “New Sponsor of the Year” for 2012, to the applause of guests from throughout Birmingham.

The world is better because of Samford’s service to God, to family, to one another, and to the community.
