Beginning this morning, we’ll host approximately 25 alumni and friends of the program at events in Birmingham, Montgomery and Washington, D.C. Under the careful direction of Professor Mike Floyd and those who serve with him, we’ve received students into the program from Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Nigeria, the Philippines, Sudan and Thailand. In particular, many judges from Brazil, seeking an improved understanding of the common law system used in the United States, are counted among our graduates. In the lives touched through the M.C.L. Program, our people expand the Samford mission to the world.

The world is better because of two decades of outreach through the Master of Comparative Law Program.
