November 6, 9 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Samford University, College of Health Sciences

Currently, 34 million people in the United States have diabetes mellitus (DM) with roughly 90-95% of those individuals suffering from Type 2 DM. About one-third (88 million) of Americans have prediabetes. It is critical that pharmacists understand the latest pharmacological treatments for DM as they are the health practitioners most likely to interact with patients on a routine basis. The purpose of this program is to give pharmacists a comprehensive review of the management of Type 2 DM.

This is a knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education (CPE) activity approved for 2 live contact hours (0.2 CEUs). To receive credit, participants must attend the entire session and complete program assessments.

This program is free for Samford alumni. If you are an alumnus, please use the discount code, "ALUM" when you register. You will be asked to provide your graduation year.
