During her time at Samford University, Julianne Jorgensen has pursued a variety of pursuits on campus, in Birmingham, and throughout the nation. On campus, she currently serves as the president of Howard College Ambassadors and the Managing Editor of the Samford Undergraduate Research Journal. Last summer, she interned as a researcher for a digital research project, called Lincoln Archives in Washington D.C., where she worked in both the National Archives and the Library of Congress. She also interned at the Birmingham Museum of Art last year, and she is currently the recipient of the Siegler Fellowship with the Birmingham Holocaust Education Center. After she graduates in the spring, Julianne will seek a job that will combine her passions for research, writing, and communications.
